A former member of the Imo House of Assembly, Hon Steve Orji who represented Orlu state constituency in the 7th Assembly is dead.
A release from his family made available to newsmen indicates that the deceased was a formal majority chief whip of the 7th Assembly, Imo House of Assembly, when he represented Orlu state constituency.
A doctorate degree holder including several professional qualifications, Hon Steve Orji was a prominent political figure in Orlu Zone and Imo State. He also held the traditional title of Okeosisi NdIgbo.
The release further indicates that the burial date will be announced in due course
